Aber was zum Teufel, ist das für ein Geräusch im Hintergrund ?!

 

Dieser Workshop dient zum Ideen- und Erfahrungsaustausch zwischen Künstlern und DJs.

 

Kennen Ihr das? Endlich auf dem Firespace angekommen, die Tools gedippt, die Musik wechselt und Euch vergeht die Lust zu spielen?

 

Oder: Die Musik ist Eurer Meinung nach einfach zu schnell oder zu langsam?

 

Oder: Du spielst einen einiges Musik-Set und setzt jede Menge Ideen um, und dann kommt jemand und will einen Song hören, der wirklich gar nicht zu dem bereits Gespielten passt, aber die anfragende Person lässt nicht ab?

 

Was kannst Du in einer solchen Situation tun? Wie fühlst Du dich?

 

El Ogros  Anliegen ist es herauszufinden welche Art von Musik auf welche Art von Feuer-Tool passt und auf welche Art von Musik Du mit welchem Tool tanzen möchtest?

Wie sollte der "Firespaceabend" musikalisch ablaufen?

Sollte es DJ Sets mit unterschiedlichen Stilen, einer nach dem anderen sein?

Sollte es Set-Listen der DJs, angefragt von den Künstlern sein - oder jedes dritte Lied - oder überhaupt keine Anfragen, hast Du gute Ideen?..Lass uns wissen!

 

Das Ziel dieses Workshops ist es, ein besseres Verständnis zwischen den Künstlern und DJs zu bekommen.

 

Die Ergebnisse werden zusammengetragen (ca. 1h) und dann am Firespace präsentiert.

 

Ihr seit alle zum Mitmachen herzlich eingeladen!

Bitte bringt Eure Tools und Lieblingsmusik mit.

Ein Laptop mit Virtual DJ Pro-Software steht zur Verfügung.

Playing with Fire – Nice Artists, nice tools, nice effects,

but what the heck is that noise in the background?!

 

This workshop is for exchanging ideas and experiences between artists and DJs.

 

Do you know this: You are finally on the fire space and yet you are about to begin the music changes and you don't want to play anymore?

 

Or: The music is just too fast / too slow for your opinion to play on it?

 

Or: You are playing some music set and put loads of ideas in it and then someone comes and wants you to play a song which doesn't really fit at all to the songs already played, but the requesting person absolutely wants to hear it?

 

What can you do in such a situation? How do you feel?

 

Well, my concern is to find out what kind of music fits with what kind of fire tool.

What type of music do you like to dance to with your tools?

With which music - should an evening of fire playing be set up?

Should there be sets of styles, one after another?

Should there be setlists by the DJs, requests by the artists - like every third song or something -, no requests at all, YOUR very idea? Let us know!

 

The achievement of this workshop shall be a better understanding between artists and DJs.

 

We could put the results together for an hour (or more) to present on the fire space then.
